Are you interested in starting a home business ? I started my home business when I was 18 years old while I was studying in my American University where I have been always busy with my homework , projects and reports. Nothing is impossible .. you can do it wether you're a student , a full job employee or even if you don't have anything to do other than starting a new business 😅

1. First things first .. choose the industry that you feel you will enjoy working in and search for an opportunity in that industry. After you decide on the business idea, grab a small business plan template and start thinking about your business while filling it out. Don't freak out because it will take days to figure out what you want to do and fill out this business plan.
2. After having plan that specify everything including your target market, your budget , your promoting techniques etc. , write all the tasks that you need to do before you start your business. For example, if you need to purchase an equipment, write this down and get it done.
3. Find motivation and support which means write down the reason why you want to start this business. Find the right people in your family that you can share your thoughts with and they can support you.
4. Make things professional and never neglect good customer service support such as having a good email address and prepare templates to contact customers. Have a business phone number. Work on a proper packaging because all those small things matter.
5. Share your story. I find that customers get attached to people behind any small business when they share their stories. Don't make them feel that you can't be reached and don't talk to them as robot. Build relationships that will help grow your business.

I know those steps are not a clear and simple actionable steps that you can do. Those are things that nobody told me before I started my business. I learned them and I swear by them because before four years I was in this spot where I wanted to start my own business so badly. I'm proud now that I own one of the leading Kuwaiti stationery and gifts corporations.
